The Potion of Obedience

Suddenly, the door sprang open and the mischievious niece ran out; Winnie and I followed her. "Wait, it's not poison; it's just a bottle of potion to make you into a nice person!" I yelled loudly. "I don't care! Why do you want to experiment the potion on me?" the niece yelled back. "It is because you are mischievious! You are very different, in a bad way," Winnie said.

Winnie and I were very tired; we collapsed on the ground. "Where are we?" I asked curiously. "MOVE! There's a truck coming this way," Winnie shouted in my ear. As I jumped out of the truck's way, I saw the niece's beady eyes hiding behind a tree. I grabbed her and tied her on the tree. When I poured the potion into her mouth, she suddenly turned into an obidient monkey.

Scared of what had just happened, we called 999 and took the niece to the doctors. The doctor said, "are you crazy? why did you turn her into a moneky?" "I didn't mean to, I just wanted to help her become a better person." "Well, I suppose we may have put in some inappropriate ingredients." We put in two apples, three bananas, one spider and some chocolate into the potion. The doctor and I had an argument about the potion for about an hour. The doctor finally gave the antidote to the niece and she turned back to her mischievious self again.

A Fun Weekend

This weekend I went to stay at my friend’s house for a sleep over. It was a very different experience because we went to visit the military base to see a movie and watch a baseball game. Even though I wasn’t feeling well, I was persistent because I was filled with excitement.

We were very patient watching the advertisement before the magnificent movie commenced.

After the movie was finished we proceeded to watch a baseball game which was a different type of accompaniment event to what I am used to.

After that we all went home to my friend’s house and her mum told us, we have to write our short story and make some different sentences in our stories on what we had done during the day.

The Advertisement

On television today, I watched an advertisement about how to make a trail mix. It was a magnificent recipe, using delicious and different ingredients. Very experienced movie-makers made the advertisement. But I heard that before they made the ad, they had to experiment with the trail mix. They were very intelligent and had a sufficient mix of flavors in the recipe. After seeing the ad, I raced into the kitchen and started mixing, pouring, pounding and then I ate my trail mix.

Swimming On Sunday

Today I went swimming in the pool at the British Embassy and played with Gabby and Rebecca , my friends, who live there. There was a lot of excitement as we kept on falling of our magificent new, rubber rings that we bought earlier this morning. I also did an independent activity in the water. I did two laps of each of these different strokes butterfly, backstroke, breststroke and freestyle. We did lots of jumping and diving in the deep end of the pool and had lots of fun. However, at the end me and my dad an argument because I did not want to get out of the swimming pool although I was tired and cold.

Friends Forever

Suddenly there was a magnificent squeal as the animals captured the aboriginals. As soon as they grabbed them, one of the animals wailed "Help us!" The aboriginals then saw that that there was a small baby dingo lying on the floor underneath the mantelpiece. The persistent animals begged for help and the obedient aboriginals agreed to the animals pleading on the floor. The experienced aboriginals slowly pushed up the mantelpiece. Soon enough the little dingo was released and thanking his new friends as they had just saved his life.

The animals were relieved because the small baby dingo was safe. Wallambimbi made an announcement, "Animals and aboriginals shall re unite! We should be friends and help each other survive harsh living in the outback." The animal parliament leader exclaimed "Great idea, lets discuss this matter over a sufficient feast!"

The good life of animals and humans continued and there was great peace on earth.

The Mischievious Niece

I was walking to my friend Winnie's house. She is 15 years old and has an older sister named Rebecca. Rebecca got married and had a daughter named Sarah. As I got closer to her house, I heard a loud 'BOOM' sound coming from her house. I thought there was an explosion, but I was wrong. It was Winnie's niece Sarah making popcorn. I couldn't believe that making popcorn would make such loud sounds. Suddenly, I heard a chicken sound coming from her house. I ran into her house to find that Winnie's pet hamster had been changed into a chicken. Sarah had put some chemicals inside the popcorn machine and some of it had splashed onto the pet hamster. The chicken was now making screaming sounds because he was stuck in the small hamster's cage.

I thought that a chicken inside a hamster's cage was very funny. Then, Sarah brought out a big box full of glass bottles. She then smashed them into pieces. When Winnie's mum came in, Sarah blamed me and said, "this big loser broke the glass bottles." She said it very sarcastically. "Yeah, right!" I replied.

Next, the mischievious niece made hot boiling soup full of potatoes. Instead of putting the spices in the soup, she sprinkled them on me and Winnie. "What are you doing?" we asked suspiciously. She didn't answer, but kept putting pieces of vegetables on us and told us to be quiet. She wanted to put us in her soup. "HELP!" I screamed loudly and tried to run. Suddenly, Winnie's mum and Sarah's mum came into the kitchen and spanked all of us on our bottoms for no reason. When I went back to my house, I received a telephone call from Winnie. She wanted me to go back to her house to help her to clear up.

What my Mum's Niece did

One early morning, my mum’s niece finally arrived with her blossom bear and drink bottle. She then saw me and hugged me really tight. I almost believed that I was like a big sister because of her affection towards me.

I told her we were able to read books, paint a sword and a shield. She then gasped and said “ You did all this for me?”, and I nodded. I told her we could play fight with them and do what ever we want to do with them but we have to pretend to be fierce with them. She started jumping up and down like crazy because she was so excited that she accidently put the a piece of the sword through the ceiling!!!

My mum got so mad that she sent her in the room by herself until she left to go back home. I missed her so much that I rang her on the phone every single day after that until the next weekend.

The Bathroom!! All the tribe members were full of grief because George had only done a brief flush. Suddenly there was a shriek and they looked out. When they left the bathroom they saw a mantlepiece on the floor. After a while the aboriginals found that there were pieces of the mantlepiece on the floor and that it had fallen from the ceiling.

The Fake Piercing Sound

One day a loud piercing sound came from the living room. After checking the living room, I was relieved that nothing happened to the fragile picture cubes that were sitting on the mantelpiece. But then the piercing sound started again. It sounded like a person screaming at me. The piercing voice shrieked, "This mantelpiece is a magic mantelpiece." Then I said, "Wow, my mantelpiece is magic!" I thought to myself, "maybe the voice is deceitful." At last I thought of another thing, maybe my brother is standing right behind me. When I turned around, I discovered my brother. I called up to the ceiling so my mom would come down and put my brother in a time out. Due to his time out, he cried so hard that he needed a handkerchief. Good grief!

The relieve on the ceiling

May 18th 2010

Today the ceiling fell down, and broke the mantel piece. I buried my diary to protect it. We had to relieve the ceiling, the mantel piece, many books and the glass shield but I had a lot of grief on the last one, because my pet cat who cost a lot of money died! Fortunately my mom said she had enough money to relieve Marley, the cat who I was talking about!!! I was thrilled I was so happy tears rolled down my eyes, so my mom had to give me a handkerchief.
Well I havn't told you I have a little sister! Well she gets into a lot of mischief like my sister was doing alot of besige on the broken mantle piece she didn't even let people fix it!

Uh Oh souded like the roof is falling apart again I'd better go save my things including the tabby I named Marley!

confusion in a mission

Friday 30th April 2010

Today my mum was on a MISSION. I'm sure she struggled because here were on of the codes: Ha Ha You Can't Catch Me Poop Poop Agent From The Evil Polar Bear but something was also bugging me during the DIVISION test. Some sort of discussion or something. My Mom's mission was to find a baddy in the ARIZONA DESERT, and that was not a cool OCCASION, my mom was full of confusion during the mission.

Going to Arizona

“Finally it’s the Summer Holidays!” yelled Sally after she got of the bus, “I cannot wait until we go to… Ariz, Arizona” Sally said in an offended tone.

“ Yes Sally I think you are finally saying the correct name this time” sighed Sally’s Mum.

“ Yippee I’ve been practicing saying that name a million times, now I’m getting used to saying it”

Suddenly, a familiar face appeared into my vision. It was Sally’s best friend Leslie. Sally ran up to Leslie and said “ I’m going to Arizona tomorrow, isn’t that so amazing! “

“ Hey! I thought I was going to Arizona,“

“ You are? “

“ Yep “

“ AHHHH! “

Then they had a very long discussion. The next day they found each other together the whole day. They had permission to travel together and they went on the same flight, same car and they even stayed in the same room. But when all the fun was over they were both sad but still had fun at school.

A scientist had the profession of travelling on a super difficult mission. He and his boss each had a wristwatch with a television and a camera. They could see and communicate with each other. The scientist had super good vision. The scientist had to fly to the Arizona desert however, his flight was delayed.

Quickly Wallambimbi made a decision (which was his profession) to give Wicken permission to have a look at what was further ahead singing silly songs. When they got to a different room they found the little animal thieves in seats singing in a language that the Aboriginals cold not understand. They realized it must be a special occasion. Soon enough one of them saw Wicken and he quickly ran off. They heard animals saying" It must be an invasion. "Finally they saw more animals chasing after them!

The Egypt Tour (Part 2)

After the singing performance by Tutankamen, I clapped loudly. To show his appreciation, he bowed to the left, to the right, to the front and then to the back. "Stop!" I shouted. "I'm getting dizzy with all these bowing. "What shall we do next? Shall we go see my friend Cleopatra?" Tutankamen asked.

"I'd like that, but is she buried in this pyramid as well? I asked myself. Tutankamen overheard me and replied, "She is right next door! Let me tell you a secret. When you came into my tomb, I rose from the dead. So, when you go into Cleopatra's tomb, you shall have the power to raise her from the dead. Isn't that wonderful?" "Yes it is," I agreed.

We crept slowly to the next room without making a single sound. Before we could enter the tomb, we had to get permission from the tomb-keeper who was standing infront of the door. There was a long discussion between Tutankamen and the tomb-keeper. When he finally let us in, we noticed that several scientists were already inside taking pictures. They were from Arizona. They said that they were in Egypt to study the desert. I wanted to join their mission. We looked all around the tomb, but we could not find Cleopatra anywhere.

Mystery

CCCCCCCCCCCCCCrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!The door opened as I stepped into the quiet ,mysterious, crypt ,a cool breeze blew throgh the doors and I stood there as silent as a mouse. Pieces of crystal were scattered everywere on the creaky wooden floor. This chamber in a pyramid in Egypt was very scary. But suddenly all of the mice and rats started to scamper away. Something was coming, I could feel it. However, what it was still remains a mystery. Perhaps you could find out for me, if you ever visit!

Wallambimbi in Wonderland

As quickly as they could, they ran to a nearby pond and splashed water on George's face. They all sat under a Sycamore tree to discuss what had happened. George gave a comprehensive explanation then they all started to jump up and down in a silly rhythmic way. Wallambimbi announced that they should all have a look around inside the mysterious hole. They started to crumble up the edges slightly and jumped down like gymnasts. Wallambimbi spotted a small passageway which he began to walk down. Next he fell and started to slide as if he was on a giant waterslide. Ahead he could hear singing. What will happen next?

From Mysterious to Historic

On a Friday night I changed into my pyjamas and sat down on the sofa with my dad to try and find a mysterious program to watch. As we were searching the channels in a systematic rhythm, we came across a program about Egypt and a pyramid.

It was very interesting to learn about the crypts and crystal like jewels that they have inside the pyramids.

As they talked about different interesting facts, they always kept on playing the theme song, which I started to memorise all the lyrics too. The song also started to sound like a hymn they sing in a church.

Well it has already passed 7:30 so I should go to bed.

Thursday 29th April 2010

I again went shopping but this time to JEWEL MANIA I really wanted to walk there but mom said we had to run if we wanted to buy some special jewels. When we finally made it to the shop I saw the most beautiful thing a crystal and it was FREE!!! I asked mom if I could get it and she said yes. When I got home mom said I needed to memorise the lyrics to the pyramids of Egypt. I jumped about while singing: Oh the pyramids of Egypt they stand in triangular shape they never crumble and guarded with traps. Then when I Sped down to school and slapped my ex-friend on the arm And showed the crystal to my friend.

Spelling Homework

There was a sudden disturbance and the family turned around in surprise. The curtain flung open and the cat jumped up in shock. Mr Smith assumed that there was about to be a burglary and he told the children to hide. Mrs Smith yelled at him and told him his thought was absurd! The day before the window was broken during the family cricket match of wild batting. Now, the wind was blowing through a big hole. There was a quitet murmur from the children and the cat gave a sheepish meow! Even the furniture in the room seemed to sigh in relief! By Jenna Kimber.

I went to the jeweller's just today and I found an Ember fiery dragon necklace. I also saw a note that said:

I didn't really get that was true but I bought it. When I got to school I brought a picture of a dagger that was labelled which was my homework. My friend had a picture of a really famous stationer, called Rihanna. Rihanna looked more like the jeweller who gave me the necklace I thought.



Oh gotta go my teacher called for the next session.

Cherry Blossoms

Last Sunday morning, I got woken by a morning wake up call from my dad. He woke me up to tell me the cherry blossom festival was being held here in Seoul! He had found all this information from an advertisement. I was desperate to get up because it was the weekend. My dad then started to persuade me to get up before the traffic got busy, and finally I got out of bed.

Before I got dressed I looked at the temperature on the thermometer so I would know what clothes to wear. It was a bit cold so I wore my pants,vest and T-shirt.

I also brought some of my pencils that I bought from the stationary shop 2 weeks ago, because my dad said there was a possibility that we were able to try to sketch some pictures of the cherry blossoms.

Spelling Home work 22nd April 2010

"This is the best holiday ever"cried Augustinas "I love being in the Mediterranean the temperature here feels a lot better than at home!"
Suddenly his peace was interrupted by his little brother, Harry.
"Harry! how dare you. I was just about to have some lovely peace and quiet,then.. you..,well you come in and...and interrupt!
Augustinas didn't really like his brother that much and was desperate for some time alone in the beach house.
Sometimes Augustinas tried to persuade Harry to go away and leave him on his own but Harry never listened. He was a funny little character always following Augustinas around.
" Perhaps one day Augustinas will give in" Harry thought.
A few months later, when they were back in England, Mum took them to a fair. They had seen it on an advertisement in the newspaper the week before.
Augustinas decided to go on all the best rides without his brother. Harry cried." Don't exaggerate" said Augustinas "you are not big enough to go on most of them anyway!" But this made Harry cry even more.
Suddenly Augustinas started to feel guilty. Perhaps he could take his brother on some of the smaller rides too. And so he did. Harry had a great time.
After that they became the best of friends. Well most of the time anyway!

OK do you believe this but a miracle happened while I was reading the Bible. The Bible turned into a magic book where you could turn things into whole jungles, make invisible things turn visible, turn visible things invisible it was amazing! I took the magic book to school and told my friend I could make her a right angle by making her a square! She said
"bah that's impossible only magicians can do that obviously." I got so mad guess what I did? I turned her into a talking square. She then tried to tell but I made her voice tiny!!! It was great fun, and people kept on stepping on the horrible square right angle girl. (She was blue and full of scribble too!) I even saw someone throwing a pebble on that right angle girl (her name was Lucy by the way), but when I got home Lucy's mom left a note it said:

Wicken in Wonderland

Interesting, what could have made those holes? Well, we are about to find out!!!

Wicken was desperate, he dived down into the hole and got his head stuck in it. At first he could see nothing, it was pitch black and the temperature was cool. Suddenly there was a flash of light coming from a stack of sticks. He could vaguely see an under ground house with a bed in one corner and a table in another. He was captivated until he was interrupted by tugging at his feet. The tribe was trying to persuade Wicken to get out of the hole. George was pulling on Wicken's left leg and Wallambimbi was pulling on his right leg. He popped out of the hole and landed on his bottom. He whispered " I saw a hou...."And fainted.

The Jeweller

Once there was a jeweller who lived near a monastery. The jeweller had a very special fiery stone. This fiery stone was so powerful it could melt down a fir tree. The jeweller knew he should sell the stone and so he put an advertisement in a newspaper. The ad said that the special stone would cost 700 pounds. The jeweller finally sold the fiery stone to a desperate woman, who loved to melt things. With the stone, she planned to melt the Mediterranean Sea.

The Miracle Jungle

One day my brother told me that he had a horrible and scary dream about a miracle jungle. He told me that in his dream, "once you go into the miracle jungle, it is impossible to get out." He went on, "you have to scramble around on the pebbles that cover the ground." My brother exclaimed, "it's not that exciting in there!" But then a carpenter appeared in his dream and told him how to get out. The carpenter said, "go forward five paces, right seven big steps, right again two small steps and then left to a 90-degree angle." The carpenter continued, "you must watch out for the invisible fence." So my brother followed the instructions, and felt for the invisible fence and then hopped over it. He saw a door and opened it. "I'm free," said my brother!

Spelling Homework

Swimming Lesson

On April 13 2010, it was my second week of swimming lessons at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. It was very exciting for me to have another lesson so I jumped into the swimming pool and got started with my swimming lesson.

My swimming teachers name was Miss. Park and she has been a great example for me because she appeared to be a very responsible coach.

During the lesson, I was sensible and played Find the Pebble with my swimming teacher. We played the game with pebbles, and I accidently lost one pebble in the darkest area of the swimming pool but found it later on in my lesson.

It only seemed like a few minutes and it was already the end of the swimming lesson but I was able to swim by myself.

As she left, I kept on waving at her to say goodbye until she became invisible due to the crowds of people.

The Billabong

Just to remind you, the Outback is in Australia, not Africa. Enough of that, because of all the exciting exercise, Wicken is idle and everyone begins shouting "Stop being so lazy!" "OK, OK." said Wicken and they set off to find the animal's secret hide out. Wallambimbi starts to walk sensibly through the hot dessert while the rest scramble behind. Suddenly a billabong appeared. "Look, water!" shouted George and Stricken. They ran over to the pond as fast as they could. Wicken spotted a horrible burrow with crumbling edges. The group needed to find out who was responsible for this!

The Most Appetising Meal

The most appetising, mouth-watering meal ever was made in Hungary. It was available online. It was slowly made on January 25, 1945. The necessary ingredients were: eggs, cheese, bread, pizza and an extraordinary yellowish, green vegetable, called the tomarrotumber (a delicious mix of tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers). All the ingredients were put together and it was an appealing taste and sight.

Lilly's diary: Library trouble by Abby

February 1st 201o

Dear Diary,
Today the library was not availible, which is weird because the library is always open. I asked my friend if he knew what on earth was going on, but he gave some untrue info and explained "it is ordanairy for a library to close and if you want advice, then it is necessary, to read a stationary computer!" I just thought his advice was incorrect so I quickly walked away. I reached a very tall building. I walked inside, hopeing that there would be knowledgeable people in there to tell me what was wrong, but the only people in there were fined people, extraordinary people and disagreeable Hungary people. So I just walked home. At home I got an extra appetising lunch.

Well diary gotta fly I need to find more information about the library.

Tennis

One sunny afternoon, I went to have my tennis lesson. When we entered the building, I was over whelmed to be there. When we arrived, it was very quiet and all the courts were available which was very unusual, I felt like I was at the library.

Our tennis coach was very extraordinary because he came in a bright pink T-shirt. He had told us that tennis shoes and comfortable gear was necessary in his tennis lesson. At the end of our tennis lesson he told us to eat more vegetables like runner beans to make us run fast.

Freaky

So Stricken, Wicken, George and Wallambimbi are standing in a dense pack of trees at midday. It is about 30 degrees celsius and they are frozen with fear. Salty sweat is dripping down their brown faces as if they are standing under a waterfall. Behind George's back stands a fierce, stationary dingo. Suddenly George dives onto the dry, sandy outback floor and grabs onto Stricken's muscly leg. George holds on for an extraordinary time while the dingo is chewing on his sandles. He seems to find them appetising and appealing. Wallambimbi takes control and does a front flip onto an available tree branch. He notices that the tree beside him looks familiar. In a moment he yanks the tree trunk out of the dusty ground, hits the dingo on the head and yells 'come on fellas i've found our diggeridoo!'

So the famous Stricken, Wicken and George have found the precious missing knife amongst the outback shrubbery. Now the curious tribe leader, Wallambimbi is anxious to find the rest of the mysterious missing pieces. Unfortunately they will have to walk miles to find the animal's hideout.
The next day they went out walking in search of more clues. They spotted a great number of arrows beneath gum trees which lead them to an usual gathering of pine trees. George walked towards the north where he found a perfect pile of rocks shaped as a circle. Wallambimbi then shouted "George, stop, there's a dingo behind you!!". George froze with fear.

Spelling homework A crack window

A Crack Window

One early morning, my mum and I were talking about humorous things. Until my mum and I said it would be a precious day today. Suddenly, there was a mysterious sound! We looked around and then my mum shouted out for me. Then we both started screaming as we both figured out there was a big crack on our glass window.

We were both very nervous and called my dad. My dad then called our land agent and she said she would come and look at it. We thought that the previous constructions beneath might have caused the crack. Then the door bell rang, it was the land agent who was anxious and curious to see the big crack on the glass window.

The next day, it was rainy and thundery. I was having a marvellous time with a friend until we heard a big BANG! And guess what...
