One day a loud piercing sound came from the living room. After checking the living room, I was relieved that nothing happened to the fragile picture cubes that were sitting on the mantelpiece. But then the piercing sound started again. It sounded like a person screaming at me. The piercing voice shrieked, "This mantelpiece is a magic mantelpiece." Then I said, "Wow, my mantelpiece is magic!" I thought to myself, "maybe the voice is deceitful." At last I thought of another thing, maybe my brother is standing right behind me. When I turned around, I discovered my brother. I called up to the ceiling so my mom would come down and put my brother in a time out. Due to his time out, he cried so hard that he needed a handkerchief. Good grief!
