Adam's comprehension Unit 6

section 1
1. In some places in Africa people greet each other by spitting in the face.
2. In the middle ages kissing was a common greeting.
3. In olden times soldiers used to hold their weapons in their right hands.
4. In Japan people bow to each other when they meet.

section 2
1. It is important to greet someone correctly because it is good manners and makes the person think you are a good person.
2. The dutch man was surprised that he needed to kiss the cat.
3. I think the Japanese people bow because it is for good luck.

section 3
1. I like the kissing one because it makes me pop right up and it also makes me happy.
2. The pictures and the sub title helped me know what the information was about.
3. I think a good heading for the last paragraph would be - Bowing
4. Eating with your mouth open, putting your elbow on the table and sticking out your tongue show some bad manners.
