Up the Snowy Stairs

This morning , my dad and I left home to walk to the bus stop. As we stepped outside, we were startled as we thought we were in the arctic because all of the snow that had fallen overnight.

When we stepped into the snow we were surprised to discover a remarkable 10 centimetres of snow had fallen. As we walked, the cold and wet snow fell inside our shoes and made our feet feel wet and soggy.

It was very awkward to climb up the stairs because of all of the slippery snow on the ground.

As we walked along the street, I could hear as the cars came towards us, the sound of their tires crushing the slushy snow into the road.

As we walked to the bus stop we saw a row of trees that looked like a beautiful snow orchard.
